Terms of Service

The terms governing use of the Cintelo AI service, provided by Cintelo Limited.

Last updated: 30 September 2026. These are interim terms; a solicitor-reviewed version will replace them.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of Cintelo AI, including the API at api.cintelo.ai and the account hub at hub.cintelo.ai (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Cintelo Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17037021), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation to them.

2. The Service

Cintelo AI relays requests from your software to third-party AI models and returns their responses. Responses are generated by those models, not by us: they may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for how you use them. We may add, change or withdraw models and features.

3. Free trial and your account

Software built with CORD may enrol automatically in a free trial the first time it uses AI, and receive an API key. The trial includes a limited amount of usage and does not renew. You can keep it by signing in at hub.cintelo.ai. You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for activity that uses them; tell us promptly if you believe a key has been compromised.

4. Paid plans

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe. You can cancel at any time in the hub; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not refund partial periods except where the law requires it. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice, taking effect at your next billing period.

If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing. Because the Service starts immediately at your request, if you cancel within that period you may be charged for the service provided up to cancellation. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to break the law or infringe others' rights; to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or that exploits or harms children; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system; to interfere with the Service or evade its limits (for example, by creating keys to extend free trials); or in breach of the usage policies of the model provider handling your request. We may suspend or end access that breaches these terms or puts the Service or others at risk.

6. Your content

You keep all rights in the content you send and receive. You grant us only the rights needed to relay it to the model you chose and return the response. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available and to fail over between providers, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that: if you use the Service for business purposes, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaching these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to close your account. We may end or suspend the Service for you if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or on reasonable notice if we stop offering it.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post changes here and, if they materially affect you, tell you in advance. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep any mandatory protections of the law where you live.
