Who we are
Cintelo AI (cintelo.ai and hub.cintelo.ai) is operated by Cintelo Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17037021), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. Cintelo Limited is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What we collect
- When your software first uses Cintelo AI (automatic free-trial enrolment): an anonymous API key, an identifier for the installation, the IP address and network it first connected from, and a short device label. No name, email address or payment details.
- When you use the service: usage records for each request — time, the model requested, the amount of processing (tokens), cost and outcome. We do not store the content of your prompts or of the responses.
- When you create an account with your email address: your name, your email address, and your password, which we store only in a securely hashed form that cannot be read back.
- When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, basic profile details and Google account identifier. We do not receive your Google password or any other Google data.
- When you subscribe: payment is handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, billing status and the email and country you give Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- When we email you: your address and whether the message was delivered.
Your prompts
To answer a request we pass its content to the AI model provider you chose, and return the provider's response to you. We send no account identifiers with it. That provider processes the content under its own terms. We do not keep the content once the request is complete.
We do not use your data to train AI models. If we ever offer a programme that does, it will be separate and opt-in, and will not apply to you unless you explicitly choose to join it.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To provide the service you use — keys, routing, usage limits, your account and your subscription (performance of a contract).
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse — for example, detecting misuse of free trials (legitimate interests).
- To keep financial records as the law requires (legal obligation).
- To tell you about your account — for example, when your free credit is running low (performance of a contract, or legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that process data on our behalf: Stripe (payments), Mailgun (email), Railway (hosting), Cloudflare (content delivery) and Google (sign-in). AI model providers receive the content of your requests as described above: OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, xAI, OpenRouter, DeepInfra, Cohere and Voyage. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
International transfers
Several of these providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the UK we rely on UK adequacy regulations (including the UK–US data bridge) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, as appropriate.
How long we keep it
- An unused free-trial key expires after 60 days without use.
- Account data is kept while your account is open, and deleted or anonymised when you ask us to close it, except as below.
- Billing and financial records are kept for six years, as UK law requires.
- Usage records are kept for as long as needed to operate, bill and secure the service.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Contact [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), though we would welcome the chance to put things right first.
Cookies
We use only cookies that are needed for the service to work — to keep you signed in and to complete sign-in and claiming a trial. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Children
Cintelo AI is a developer service and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the hub.
